Grand Canyon's privilege to have been serving the public since 1979. We originated
the "Canyon as the Eagle Sees It" tours and provided the "memories that will last
a lifetime" to more than a quarter of a million guests.
Air Grand Canyon is a family owned air tour company. We are the second largest air
tour operator of fixed wing aircraft at Grand Canyon Airport. As such, we take great
pride in the excellent reputation we have established throughout the tourist and
aviation industries. Our continuing goal to you, our air tour guests, is to provide
the highest quality service possible. We believe that individual, personal service
coupled with safety are our highest objectives, and we operate our company on those
principles.
Air Grand Canyon began operations at the Grand Canyon Airport Terminal on October
31, 1981. Air Grand Canyon then consisted of only one Cessna 207 aircraft and two
employees. In addition, we were only one of two companies offering fixed wing scenic
flights out of Grand Canyon Airport. Since that time, Air Grand Canyon has grown
its fleet from a single aircraft to about a dozen, including single engine Cessna
T207's and Cessna 182's. The number of people to serve you has increased from just
2 to an average of 20.
Since its inception, Air Grand Canyon has flown almost 77,000 flights, and prides
itself on its excellent safety record. Air Grand Canyon continues to strive for
the highest possible achievements in safety and pilot training. At Air Grand Canyon,
